Professional Bubble-Free Digital Print Vinyl

What is 5–7 Year Air Release Vinyl?

5–7 Year Air Release Vinyl is a premium printable polymeric vinyl engineered with advanced air-channel adhesive technology for smooth, bubble-free installation. Designed for long-term indoor and outdoor applications, this high-performance digital print media allows trapped air to escape during application, dramatically reducing bubbling and creasing.

Looking for general vinyl printing? View our full vinyl printing service here.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive features microscopic criss-cross airflow channels that release air as you apply the graphic. This ensures a faster installation process and a cleaner, professional finish — even on large panels.

This film is:

  • 70 micron polymeric vinyl

  • Supplied with a matching 70 micron gloss or matt overlaminate

  • Total finished thickness: 140 microns

  • Outdoor durability: Up to 7 years

Ideal for long-term vehicle graphics, shop signage, window graphics, advertising boards and display panels.

Printed Bubble-Free Vinyl Graphics

Our 5–7 year air release vinyl is digitally printed using high-resolution eco-solvent and latex printing technology, producing vibrant colours and durable graphics suitable for external exposure.

Air release printable vinyl can be:

  • Precision cut to complex shapes

  • Supplied as contour-cut stickers

  • Produced in large format panels

  • Manufactured to your exact dimensions

Available in widths up to 1.37 metres.
Larger graphics will be supplied in panel sections with overlap for seamless joining. You can specify your preferred overlap during checkout.

Choose Gloss or Matt lamination during Step 2 of the ordering process.

Easy Apply Vinyl for Large Surfaces

Easy apply vinyl printing is ideal for:

  • Vehicle graphics and fleet branding

  • Shop fascias

  • Exhibition panels

  • Wall graphics

  • Window displays

  • Advertising boards

The anti-bubble adhesive system reduces the need to lift and reposition vinyl, making installation significantly faster and cleaner.

Because fitting time is reduced, large-scale projects become more cost-effective — particularly for commercial signage and vehicle wrap applications.

Anti-Crease & Professional Finish Technology

Standard vinyl films often trap air beneath the surface. These trapped pockets can:

  • Catch under a squeegee

  • Form raised pressure points

  • Cause permanent creases or wrinkles

  • Stretch the material during correction

Air release vinyl prevents these issues by allowing air to escape naturally through the adhesive channels. This minimises installation errors and helps maintain consistent tension across the substrate.

The result is a smoother, flatter, more professional finish.

Is Air Release Vinyl Suitable for Beginners?

Yes.

5–7 Year Air Release Vinyl is one of the best printable vinyl options for novice installers. The airflow adhesive system makes installation more forgiving, particularly on:

  • Large flat panels

  • Vehicle sides

  • Shop windows

  • Aluminium composite boards

Reducing bubbles and wrinkles dramatically improves final appearance and reduces costly reprints.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will bubbles in vinyl go away?

Yes. The airflow adhesive system allows trapped air and moisture to disperse naturally during installation and post-application.

How do you apply vinyl stickers without bubbles?

For best results:

  • Apply in vertical panel drops when installing large graphics

  • Allow for overlap between sections

  • Always work from rear to front on vehicles so water flows over joins

  • Use a hinge method for accurate positioning

Hinge Installation Method:

  1. Secure the graphic in position with masking tape

  2. Create a horizontal hinge across the centre

  3. Remove backing from the top half

  4. Apply using firm squeegee strokes

  5. Repeat for lower section

Our Guarantee

Buying banners in confidence

Every BannerWorld order goes through several checks before it reaches production. Although most of our ordering system is automated, our team still checks each order manually before it is printed. If we spot a problem or have a question, we will contact you before manufacturing begins.

Our standard turnaround is 5 to 6 working days to delivery, and most products are also available on an express service. Some express products can also be produced on our super express service, with delivery in 1 to 2 working days.

How Your Order Is Processed

File checking is standard on every order, at no extra cost. We make sure your artwork matches what you have ordered, so you can order knowing mistakes will be caught early. If anything is unclear, we will get in touch before going any further.

Step 1: Initial Artwork Check

When your order arrives, we cross-reference your artwork against it. We check that the artwork sizes and file types match the order and that we have the correct number of files for the job. If anything looks wrong or a file is missing, we put the order on hold and contact you straight away.

Step 2: Order Processing

Once your order passes the initial check, we gather all the job details, including material type and finishing. This information is sent with your artwork to our pre-press department.

Step 3: Pre-Press and Second Check

Pre-press is the stage before printing. Here your artwork is converted into the correct format for our printers and finishing equipment. This gives us a second chance to catch any problems, and if we find one, we will contact you again.

Step 4: Printing and Tracking

Your job is batched with other items printed on the same material. Each item is given a unique code that tracks it through our factory and confirms the correct material, quantity and finishing at every stage. Your order then goes to print.

Step 5: Finishing

Every job is different, whether in size, material, shape or finishing, and each one is finished exactly as specified on your order. A banner with hems and eyelets is made in a different way to a flag with a pole pocket, so each finishing process is set up to suit the product. We automate as much of this as possible using our pre-press data, which keeps labour costs down and lets us pass the savings on to you.

Step 6: Packing

Finished items move to our packing department, where your order is collated and every item is checked off against it using the order code system. Your goods are then wrapped and packed ready for despatch.

Step 7: Delivery

Our logistics team arranges delivery of your order. Most orders are sent by next day courier, and large volume orders may go on a dedicated courier.
