To ensure a professional finish, you are always advised to employ an experienced decorator. You should make sure that your walls are smooth and free from lumps or blemishes before installation which can be removed with some light sanding. Once your wall has been smoothed, make sure that the wall has been wiped free of dust. It would help if you also soaked your wall with paste before installation and let the paste soak into the wall.
