Red Carpet Event Banners

Satin backdrop printing gives a luxurious feel to any red carpet events. We’ve produced Satin banners for film and movie premieres, black tie balls, charity events, charity nights and even live TV events. 

Printed Satin Backdrops

Satin backdrops printed in glorious full colour using dye-sublimation technology. Dye-sublimation printing fuses the ink dye into the fabric meaning your satin backdrop is colourfast and fade-proof. Because we print in full colour in photographic definition, you can get really creative with your design. Use any combination of text, logos, and photographic images in your artwork designs.

Lightweight Backdrops, Easy to Transport and Install

At just 140gsm printed Satin is a lightweight material and is ultra-easy to pack, transport, and install. Many finishing options including hems, eyelets, and pole pockets mean that you can fit your backdrops anywhere.

Large Satin backdrops

We print our custom Satin drapes at any size. Satin drapes that are larger than the material will have a stitched seam. Maximum size in both dimensions without a join = 2.6m to 2.9m depending on finishing.  

Flame Retardant

Flame retardant to B1 specification, this fabric can be used in any indoor or outdoor location, adhering to EU & UK fire safety regulations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you check my artwork?

Yes our artwork checks all artworks as standard upon receipt of order. Please make sure all spelling etc is correct before sending as we can’t be held responsible for errors. If we do spot an obvious error we will inform you.

Can you colour match to my pantone colours?

Our CMYK process has a high degree of accuracy. However colour can vary from different PC monitors and different substrates. We do offer a pantone matching service for additional cost. This process can also add 2-3 working days to the process.

Will my backdrop have a join?

Dependent on the finishing specification, backdrops which are under 2.9m in one dimension will not require a join. Some finishing such as pole pockets top and bottom will require more fabric, so this figure then reduces to 2.6m.

Larger backdrops will have a seam where section pieces of material are stitch-seamed together. Due to the increase in the viewing distance on larger backdrops a join is never very noticeable.

What is the weight of Satin?

At 140gsm this polyester satin is very light weight and ideal for indoor exhibitions and events where you require that extra premium look.

Can this be used outdoors?

Yes it can be used outdoors if required.

Will my order arrive on a roll or folded?

As standard the Satin fabric is shipped folded.  You can request it to be shipped on a roll at an additional cost of £25.  Please note that rolls can only be sent at a maximum of 2.5m

Will there be creases if folded?

There maybe some very light creasing when folded. This is the most crease resistant fabric we produce.

How do I care for my Satin Backdrop?

Satin can be machine washed & ironed on a low heat to keep it looking brand new.

Every BannerWorld order goes through several checks before it reaches production. Although most of our ordering system is automated, our team still checks each order manually before it is printed. If we spot a problem or have a question, we will contact you before manufacturing begins.

Our standard turnaround is 5 to 6 working days to delivery, and most products are also available on an express service. Some express products can also be produced on our super express service, with delivery in 1 to 2 working days.

How Your Order Is Processed

File checking is standard on every order, at no extra cost. We make sure your artwork matches what you have ordered, so you can order knowing mistakes will be caught early. If anything is unclear, we will get in touch before going any further.

Step 1: Initial Artwork Check

When your order arrives, we cross-reference your artwork against it. We check that the artwork sizes and file types match the order and that we have the correct number of files for the job. If anything looks wrong or a file is missing, we put the order on hold and contact you straight away.

Step 2: Order Processing

Once your order passes the initial check, we gather all the job details, including material type and finishing. This information is sent with your artwork to our pre-press department.

Step 3: Pre-Press and Second Check

Pre-press is the stage before printing. Here your artwork is converted into the correct format for our printers and finishing equipment. This gives us a second chance to catch any problems, and if we find one, we will contact you again.

Step 4: Printing and Tracking

Your job is batched with other items printed on the same material. Each item is given a unique code that tracks it through our factory and confirms the correct material, quantity and finishing at every stage. Your order then goes to print.

Step 5: Finishing

Every job is different, whether in size, material, shape or finishing, and each one is finished exactly as specified on your order. A banner with hems and eyelets is made in a different way to a flag with a pole pocket, so each finishing process is set up to suit the product. We automate as much of this as possible using our pre-press data, which keeps labour costs down and lets us pass the savings on to you.

Step 6: Packing

Finished items move to our packing department, where your order is collated and every item is checked off against it using the order code system. Your goods are then wrapped and packed ready for despatch.

Step 7: Delivery

Our logistics team arranges delivery of your order. Most orders are sent by next day courier, and large volume orders may go on a dedicated courier.
