Phototex™ is a print, peel & stick, multi-US, UK, EU patented, adhesive material made of 100% polyester fabric. What is Phototex?

Phototex is a paste free self adhesive wall covering. It is easy to install and removable and re-positionable so if you get any bubbles it can be lifted up and put back down.  Thanks to the oil-based adhesive it is fully removable as the adhesive does not cure.

If I remove Phototex can I re-use it another time?

In theory yes this is possible.  You will need to keep the original backing paper to put it back on for when storing and also make sure that your wall is dust free when applying.

How will the joins look on a large wall?

There is an option to have a butt join or overlap join.  Both have their advantages and disadvantages.  A butt join if lined up correctly will be the least noticeable. However getting it to match exact on a self adhesive product can be tricky without leaving gaps. Overlap joins give you a bit more play when lining up so there will be no gaps but the join will be more visible.

Will you check my artwork?

Yes all artwork is checked before production begins.

Can Phototex be used outdoors?

Yes Phototex can be used outdoors for short term applications that need to be removed easily without any damage to the substrate underneath.

Can this be cut to a shape?

Yes we can cut this to shape on our accurate computer operated cutting equipment. If you need it cutting to shape please specify when ordering and supply a separate cut layer on your artwork where possible.

Will this stick to existing wallpaper?

Yes you can stick over the top of existing wallpaper and remove easily.  Take care when removing from wallpaper to avoid damage.

Will the product blockout any marks or image that is underneath?

It will not 100% hide marks or images underneath but it will mask them a little.

Can Phototex be applied on newly painted walls?

It is recommended that you allow 4 weeks or more before application.

This material type has been tested for flame retardancy to UK and EU regulation standards.

We are unable to produce individual test certificates for each bespoke item.
