Backdrop Printing Information
What types of printed backdrops do we make?
We manufacture printed backdrops for any applications. We print theatre backdrops, band backdrops and backdrops for events. We have produced backdrops for major UK television operators, including ITV and the BBC and provides backdrops for stage and theatre shows and major music artists.
What finishing options can I choose?
Our most popular backdrop printing finishing option is hem and eyelets across the top, hemmed sides and a pole pocket at the bottom. Bottom pole pockets are used predominantly for weighting the bottom of the backdrop. Sliding into the pocket either a dowel or a weighted bar adds tension to the cloth so it looks less creased.
What backdrop materials can you print?
We print onto a wide range of printed backdrop materials. Our most popular material is 210gsm polyester.
Polyester 210 backdrops
210 polyester is ideal for most stages and applications. 210 polyester is lightweight but also has a nice thickness to the material
Polyester 115 backdrops
Polyester 115 backdrop material is a lighter weight version of 210. The lighter weight means that it has more light show-through properties because of the cloth is thinner.
Our Satin backdrops look like silk. The shiny, luxurious surface makes satin a very classy and elegant material. Using Satin cloth and lighting together makes for some beautiful shimmering effects.
Our veil backdrops use a super lightweight weave. Veil backdrops are fantastic for use on their own or for layering over other fabric. Veil backdrop is ideal for use when you need backlighting. Adding lights or fairy lights can add fantastic effects to the back of the cloths. Veil cloth backdrops with twinkling lights behind add atmosphere and are attractive.
We manufacture printed Blockout backdrops which stop any light show through. The black resin reverse liner prevents unwanted light from penetrating the backdrop. Block out backdrops are an ideal solution for use when you have light issues around the back of the cloth which need to be blocked out. The block out cloth is ideal to use to cover window areas when light is an issue.
