Custom Printed Crowd Banners for Stadiums & Events

Custom printed crowd banners are the ideal solution for football matches, festivals, parades and large-scale promotional events. Manufactured in the UK and made to any size, our lightweight stadium flags are designed for high-impact visual displays, sponsor branding and crowd choreography.

Whether you need a large pitch flag featuring a team badge, a sponsor-branded seating cover or a banner for crowd surfing, we produce durable polyester banners built to your exact event specification.

Crowd banners are widely used for event branding banners, helping organisers promote sponsors and create strong visual impact at sports events and festivals.

Lightweight Polyester Crowd Flags

As standard, our crowd banners are printed onto 115gsm knitted polyester fabric. This specialist material is:

  • Lightweight and easy to handle

  • Strong and tear-resistant

  • Simple to fold and transport

  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor use

The fabric dries quickly after rain and is weather-resistant, making it ideal for unpredictable UK conditions.

Despite their size, large crowd flags remain surprisingly manageable. For example, a 10m x 10m banner weighs approximately 12kg and packs down compactly for storage and transport.

Air Mesh Crowd Banner Printing

For venues exposed to wind or open-air stadium environments, we also offer 115gsm polyester air mesh.

Air mesh contains small perforations that allow wind to pass through the material, reducing drag and helping prevent the banner from catching strong gusts. This makes it particularly suitable for elevated seating displays and large-scale outdoor installations.

Both standard polyester and air mesh options deliver vibrant colour reproduction and professional results.

High-Definition Dye Sublimation Printing

All crowd banners are printed in full colour using advanced dye sublimation technology. This specialist fabric printing process ensures:

  • Sharp, photo-quality graphics

  • Deep, vibrant colours

  • Excellent durability

  • Fade-resistant results

  • Waterproof, non-running inks

Because the ink bonds directly with the polyester fibres, the finished banner maintains flexibility while delivering long-lasting visual impact.

You can include logos, sponsor branding, detailed artwork or full photographic designs with complete colour freedom.

Finishing Options & Reinforcement

Every crowd banner can be finished to suit your venue or event requirements.

Available finishing options include:

  • Reinforced hems for added durability

  • Eyelets around the perimeter for secure fixing

  • Stitched handles for safe carrying and crowd surfing

  • Additional securing points for stadium seating attachment

For seating installations, reinforced hems combined with eyelets provide additional strength around the edges. Reinforcement tape is stitched into the hem to improve durability and extend lifespan, particularly on larger banners.

Stadium Seating Banners

Stadium seating banners are a highly effective way to brand unused seating areas and maximise advertising space within arenas and sports venues.

Manufactured using the same high-quality polyester materials, seating banners can be produced with additional bleed (typically 300–500mm) to allow the fabric to wrap over chair rows securely. This ensures a smooth, professional finish across the display area.

We can tailor each seating banner to your stadium layout and event specification.

Flame-Retardant & Safety Certified

All fabrics used for our crowd banners are flame-retardant and suitable for use within stadiums, arenas and public venues.

British and European fire certification is available upon request, as many venues require documentation before installation. We recommend confirming specific requirements with your stadium or event organiser prior to ordering.

Our materials are compliant with UK safety guidance, including standards associated with major sporting venues and public event spaces.

Frequently Asked Questions

How big can you make crowd flags and banners?

To any size. Our machines print at up to 3.2 metres wide. Larger flags and banners are seamed together in panels.

Do artworks automatically go to print or are they checked?

Yes we check all artworks upon receipt of your order.

What material is this product printed on?

We use 115gsm polyester as this is a very light fabric that can be easily stored or carried.

Can these be made so they can be carried on a march using poles?

Yes we can finish them with pole pockets on the sides. The pockets will be stitched closed at the top to prevent the banner sliding down the poles. Things to consider when having this kind of banner made is overall size and weight. If it is too big is can act like a big sail in the wind which will make it harder for people to carry.

Can it be printed double sided?

No this is a single sided product only. You will get a reverse show through on the back.If you want a double sided product check out our double sided fabric but bare in mind that this will be a lot heavier.

Do the large crowd banners have carry handles?

Yes we can put carry handles around the edges of the banner / flag so many people can carry at once. The handles are normally place ever 1m around the edges. Please select the carry handles option in the finishing instruction.

Can we peg a large banner into soft ground or grass?

Yes we recommend using tent pegs through eyelets to peg the banner into the ground.

Our Guarantee

Buying banners in confidence

Every BannerWorld order goes through several checks before it reaches production. Although most of our ordering system is automated, our team still checks each order manually before it is printed. If we spot a problem or have a question, we will contact you before manufacturing begins.

Our standard turnaround is 5 to 6 working days to delivery, and most products are also available on an express service. Some express products can also be produced on our super express service, with delivery in 1 to 2 working days.

How Your Order Is Processed

File checking is standard on every order, at no extra cost. We make sure your artwork matches what you have ordered, so you can order knowing mistakes will be caught early. If anything is unclear, we will get in touch before going any further.

Step 1: Initial Artwork Check

When your order arrives, we cross-reference your artwork against it. We check that the artwork sizes and file types match the order and that we have the correct number of files for the job. If anything looks wrong or a file is missing, we put the order on hold and contact you straight away.

Step 2: Order Processing

Once your order passes the initial check, we gather all the job details, including material type and finishing. This information is sent with your artwork to our pre-press department.

Step 3: Pre-Press and Second Check

Pre-press is the stage before printing. Here your artwork is converted into the correct format for our printers and finishing equipment. This gives us a second chance to catch any problems, and if we find one, we will contact you again.

Step 4: Printing and Tracking

Your job is batched with other items printed on the same material. Each item is given a unique code that tracks it through our factory and confirms the correct material, quantity and finishing at every stage. Your order then goes to print.

Step 5: Finishing

Every job is different, whether in size, material, shape or finishing, and each one is finished exactly as specified on your order. A banner with hems and eyelets is made in a different way to a flag with a pole pocket, so each finishing process is set up to suit the product. We automate as much of this as possible using our pre-press data, which keeps labour costs down and lets us pass the savings on to you.

Step 6: Packing

Finished items move to our packing department, where your order is collated and every item is checked off against it using the order code system. Your goods are then wrapped and packed ready for despatch.

Step 7: Delivery

Our logistics team arranges delivery of your order. Most orders are sent by next day courier, and large volume orders may go on a dedicated courier.
