Our 230gsm polyester mesh material contains thousands of tiny holes to allow wind to pass through, reducing wind-loading and making the fences much less likely to blow over. Standard banners can act like giant sails, causing panels to fall.

The material is 100% Polyester, therefore PVC Free and more environmentally friendly than traditional mesh. With high tensile and tear strengths, this material is really tough!

Unlike other advertising banners and signage, full colour printed Heras Fencing banners rarely need planning permission in city-centre locations. While hoarding panels are generally a one-off product, Heras fencing screening covers are ideal for repeatedly re-using on multiple sites. Frequently Asked Questions

I don't have any finished artwork as such but have a logo, Can you help with the artwork setup?

Yes we can help with this. Please contact us prior to ordering with a design brief. One of our team will advise. Artwork fees may apply.

How do I fit heras fence banners?

Heras fence banners are finished with hems and eyelets. Fitting is best done using plastic cable ties.

Can I put a banner on both sides of the fence panel?

Yes this is possible but please note that a banner on either side can possibly reduce the wind load capacity.

How big should a heras fence banner be?

We make Finished Heras Fence Covers to 3370mm x 1755mm this ensures a nice neat fit within the frame size of 3.5m x 2m.

Can I have a long stretch to cover over several panels?

This is possible but it can be trickier to install than individual panels.  If you do wish to have a larger banner have a look at our Mesh PVC product.  It is recommended you keep the height of the banner at 1.755m or less and try to keep the length of each run to 30m maximum.

How long will heras fencing covers last?

If fitted correctly and tensioned, your mesh heras fence banners will last a considerable time. Our inks are fade-proof and the material is both strong and waterproof. Our finishing is done to the highest industry standards.

Can you print any design onto heras fence covers?

Yes, we print in CMYK four-colour process. This includes photographs, images and text. Your design should be sent as a PDF high resolution file.

What colour is the material on the back of the banner?

Mesh PVC is white on the back.

What kind of eyelets are used?

We use galvanised steel eyelets on our Mesh PVC.

Is the material flame retardant?

Yes. Our Polyester Mesh is flame retardant to comply with all EU/UK regulations.

Can these be wiped clean?

Yes they can be wiped clean with warm soapy water, please do not use any solvent based cleaning products.

Fire Certificate Information

This material type has been tested for flame retardancy to UK and EU regulation standards.

We are unable to produce individual test certificates for each bespoke item.

Buying banners in confidence

Every BannerWorld order goes through several checks before it reaches production. Although most of our ordering system is automated, our team still checks each order manually before it is printed. If we spot a problem or have a question, we will contact you before manufacturing begins.

Our standard turnaround is 5 to 6 working days to delivery, and most products are also available on an express service. Some express products can also be produced on our super express service, with delivery in 1 to 2 working days.

How Your Order Is Processed

File checking is standard on every order, at no extra cost. We make sure your artwork matches what you have ordered, so you can order knowing mistakes will be caught early. If anything is unclear, we will get in touch before going any further.

Step 1: Initial Artwork Check

When your order arrives, we cross-reference your artwork against it. We check that the artwork sizes and file types match the order and that we have the correct number of files for the job. If anything looks wrong or a file is missing, we put the order on hold and contact you straight away.

Step 2: Order Processing

Once your order passes the initial check, we gather all the job details, including material type and finishing. This information is sent with your artwork to our pre-press department.

Step 3: Pre-Press and Second Check

Pre-press is the stage before printing. Here your artwork is converted into the correct format for our printers and finishing equipment. This gives us a second chance to catch any problems, and if we find one, we will contact you again.

Step 4: Printing and Tracking

Your job is batched with other items printed on the same material. Each item is given a unique code that tracks it through our factory and confirms the correct material, quantity and finishing at every stage. Your order then goes to print.

Step 5: Finishing

Every job is different, whether in size, material, shape or finishing, and each one is finished exactly as specified on your order. A banner with hems and eyelets is made in a different way to a flag with a pole pocket, so each finishing process is set up to suit the product. We automate as much of this as possible using our pre-press data, which keeps labour costs down and lets us pass the savings on to you.

Step 6: Packing

Finished items move to our packing department, where your order is collated and every item is checked off against it using the order code system. Your goods are then wrapped and packed ready for despatch.

Step 7: Delivery

Our logistics team arranges delivery of your order. Most orders are sent by next day courier, and large volume orders may go on a dedicated courier.
