Wide range of custom fabric backdrops

We offer a wide range of printed backdrop products. If light from behind your backdrop is a potential issue, you can opt for a Blockout Band Backdrop if you need to block out all light from behind. The block out material has a built-in black resin layer, eliminating light show through, which works similar to a blackout curtain.

Premium Printed Fabric Backdrops

We use a high-quality 210gsm Polyester with 10% stretch to produce our Anti-Crease Fabric Band Banners, Backdrop Banners, Stage Scrims, Custom Banners for Bands and Stage Backdrops. The materials properties allow the fabric to stretch slightly. Once tensioned your graphics will be crease-free. Our anti-crease backdrop banners are printed using Dye Sublimation print technology.

Custom fabric backdrop printing

The Dye Sublimation process means our backdrops for bands won’t run or fade. To clean, you can wipe smaller areas with a damp cloth or machine wash when required at a low temperature. Roll or fold your band backdrops between gigs to keep them in perfect condition.

We produce our backdrop banners and stage scrims using the latest printing technology. Once printed, our skilled finishing team take over, carefully adding seams, hems, eyelets and even pole pockets. Standard finishing includes hem and eyelets.

Print my custom artwork on a backdrop

Because we print using the latest technology, we can print any design onto you backdrop. The unprinted material starts life as white fabric. We then print your custom design and background colour to your bespoke requirements. We print onto fabrics at photographic quality, and the dye-sub process creates stunning vibrant and super-sharp quality. Your design can feature texture, effects and shadows, images and gradients.

Why are your the costs for your backdrops much lower than other suppliers?

We have developed our own unique manufacturing system. This system allows us to automate most parts of the print and finishing processes. We can now produce high quality backdrops at much lower costs than our competitors.

Are your backdrops good quality?

Yes. Our backdrops are excellent quality. We have 1000’s of happy customers all around the globe.

Will you check my artwork?

Yes if there is a problem we will contact you. You are though responsible for supply your artwork correctly, and we cannot be held responsible if you send a wrong or incorrect file.

What is the print process?

We print our backdrops using a CMYK Dye sublimation process. Click here for more details.

What colour is the fabric?

The fabric starts out white. We can print any colour you require as we use a full colour CMYK print process. We then print your image onto the white material. If you require for example a banner with a black background please make sure that the background of your artwork is black, set to C-10%, M-10%, Y-10%, K-100%.

Will my backdrop require a join?

Dependent on the finishing specification, backdrops which are under 2.9m in one dimension will not require a join. Some finishing such as pole pockets top and bottom will require more fabric, so this figure then reduces to 2.6m.

Larger backdrops will have a seam where section pieces of material are stitch-seamed together. Due to the increase in the viewing distance on larger backdrops a join is never very noticeable.

How long will my band backdrop last?

If you look after your band backdrop it will last for years. When packing up just fold up neatly as you would a bed sheet and ideally store away from direct sunlight and dust. Over time direct sunlight will bleach your backdrop.

Are your backdrops water proof?

Yes our backdrops are fully waterproof so can be used outside if required. Like any material Please make sure you dry before storing as this can cause mold which may ruin your backdrop.

Can I wash my backdrop?

Yes you can wash on a very low heat of 30 degrees.

What type of eyelets do you use?

We use special plastic eyelets on all our backdrop products. These items don’t rust like other supplier’s cheap metal eyelets so as not to ruin the backdrop.

How do you produce your hems?

The hems are folded and then professionally machine stitched to create a strong durable edge. Edges that don’t require any eyelets will be stitched as standard which will stop the edges fraying. We use thread to match the colours of the backdrop.

Can I have pole pockets?

Yes we can manufacture pole pockets at whatever size you require. For a standard scaffold tube you will need a 150mm flat pocket size.

What if I don’t see the finishing I require?

Please enter your specialist information into the additional information box. Most standard finishing is free but if this isn’t something which we class as standard finishing we will contact you to advise.

Is this product fire rated?

Our Fire Certificate for this product is unique in the industry in that we have our fabrics tested for flame retardancy after printing. Many venue safety officers will now not accept a generic fire safety certificate if it is just for the base fabric. Tested to the highest UK standards, our backdrops surpass BS5867-2: 2008: Type B.

How much is shipping?

Backdrops which are over £250 will be shipping for free. Orders under £250 will cost £15 to ship to UK mainland. T&C’s apply.

Can light shine through my band backdrop from behind?

Yes light will shine through on our standard 210gsm polyester stretch material. Some customers like to experiment with different lighting effects from backlighting to front lighting. If you require a backdrop which won’t show light through from behind then you need to choose our Blockout band banner.

We are unable to produce individual test certificates for each bespoke item.
